Hello Cloudy is a preschool animated show that explores the wonders of the world through the eyes of a little cloud named Cloudy. Along the way, Cloudy makes friends, goes on adventures, and learns how to navigate the world. She doesn’t always make the right choices or do the right thing, but she tries. And that's what matters: trying your hardest to understand the world, make the right decisions, and be a good person.
But Cloudy doesn’t go on this journey alone. In Hello Cloudy, she’s supported by a community of characters: friends like Balloon, Kite, and Bird, as well as guiding adults such as Mountain, Sun, and Wind. The world of Hello Cloudy is filled with loving, supportive characters who help each other grow, fostering a sense of community that inspires both Cloudy and the audience.
Of course, our primary goal with Hello Cloudy is to entertain. Providing children with animated content that makes them laugh and feel good about themselves and the world they live in is incredibly rewarding. But we aim to do more than just entertain—Hello Cloudy is about sparking curiosity. Children are naturally inquisitive, and we want to feed that curiosity by answering their big questions and introducing them to new concepts they may not have thought about before.
Through Cloudy’s adventures, we want to ignite the next generation of great thinkers, leaders, and stewards of the world. But it’s not just about learning facts. As children laugh and explore with Cloudy, they’ll also learn about themselves—about what it means to be a person in the world. In Hello Cloudy, episodes come in two lengths: approximately two minutes or seven minutes.
The two-minute episodes are short, fun stories that are either concept-driven or educational. These bite-sized stories often include a character moment, followed by an educational or conceptual idea. They’re designed to be quick and engaging, adding depth and variety to Cloudy’s world. Some of these two-minute episodes may also be silly or educational music videos, expanding on the characters' personalities through song.
The seven-minute episodes feature more traditional narratives, with a strong character story paired with an educational element. In these episodes, the solution to the problem is often linked to the educational theme. For example, in the episode River, Cloudy overcomes her fear of public speaking, and this act helps River—a character who has become weak from lack of water—regain his strength. The blending of storytelling and educational content provides an engaging, memorable experience for young viewers.
While Hello Cloudy is primarily a 2D animated series, certain educational segments may incorporate real-world photographs, live-action video, or different media like stop motion. This mixed-media approach helps ground the educational content in a relatable way, making complex ideas easier to understand. These techniques also allow for creative flexibility, enhancing the story or educational concept where needed.
Cloudy is a small Cumulus cloud, approximately six years old—though it’s hard to say with clouds. She’s curious, energetic, and always asking questions to make sense of the world. But being six isn’t always easy, and Cloudy doesn’t always make the best choices, behave perfectly, or do the right things. She’s sometimes impulsive and impatient. She can be selfish and quick-tempered.
Yet, Cloudy has a good heart. She cares about those around her and genuinely wants to do the right thing. It’s the combination of virtues and flaws that makes Cloudy relatable and authentic. She reflects the real world we live in, with all its joys, struggles, and challenges. Cloudy’s growth lies not in being perfect, but in how she confronts her flaws, learns from her mistakes, and strives to become a better version of herself each day.
Cloudy loves to float around the valley where she lives, meeting new people, animals, and objects, and learning more about the world. Though not as inquisitive as Cloudy, he loves spending time with her and looks up to her for guidance, even if she’s still figuring things out herself. While Mountain provides direct answers, Moon helps Cloudy learn to solve problems on her own, giving her the tools to think critically and explore her own solutions.

Though it feels like a small town, the Valley is vast and full of surprises, and Cloudy is always discovering new places and making new friends.
